A.    We believe that God has revealed all that is necessary to life and salvation in the sixty-six books of Holy Scripture, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. The Bible is the only infallible and inerrant Word of God.

B.    We believe that there is only one true God, eternally existent in three persons:  Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

C.    We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His imminent bodily return in power and glory.

D.    We believe that man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only those who put their faith in Jesus Christ alone, not trusting in any personal works whatsoever, will be saved.

E.    We believe that all human beings are created at the moment of conception in the image of God and are infinitely valuable to Him. For this reason, we do not attribute any greater or lesser value to a person based on race, gender, age, or ability. We also do not support, teach or tolerate any form of racism (toward any people group), sexism (in either direction), ageism, ableism, or any other discrimination based on God-given, immutable differences. (Genesis 1:26-28, Galatians 3:28, Psalm 139:14)

F.     We believe that salvation is the free gift of God brought to man by grace and, received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone, whose substitutionary death on the cross paid the penalty for man’s sin. There is no other possible or acceptable atonement for sin. God holds each person responsible for his or her own sin and not for the sins of others, including those of past generations. (Ezekial 18:19-20) Jesus’ work on the cross was complete. All sin is atoned for through and by Him and his abundant grace. Likewise, we are called to forgive one another in the same manner – freely, abundantly, and without keeping a record of wrongs. (Matthew 6:14-15, Ephesians 4:32, Matthew 18:21-22)

G.    We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict men, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for Godly  living and service.

H.   We believe God created the universe and everything in it and is pleased with his creation. We believe that human beings are the pinnacle of this creation and are directed by God to steward and exercise dominion over it. (Genesis 1:26-28, Genesis 2:15)

I.     We believe that God has ordained the family as a foundational institution of  human society. Marriage is the uniting covenant of one biological man and one biological woman and is a reflection of the union between Christ and His church as conveyed in God’s inerrant Holy Scriptures. We believe that men and women are spiritually equal in position before God but that God has ordained distinct and separate spiritual functions for men and women in the home and the church. The husband represents Christ as the head of the family and the wife represents the Church, as she helps and submits to her husband. (Ephesians 5:22-24, Galatians 3:28, Colossians 3:18, Genesis 1:26-28, Mark 10:6-9, Colossians 3:18-19, 1 Peter 3:5-7)

J.     We believe that at conception God purposefully, wonderfully and immutably creates each person as either male or female, and that this designation corresponds to biological sex, gender and sexuality, as these three are intricately intertwined and inseparable. God created two distinct, complementary sexes/genders designed with mutual attraction for the purpose of unifying in marriage, together reflecting the image and nature of God. Rejection of one’s biological sex, corresponding gender, or opposite sex attraction is contradictory to God’s natural design and purpose.  (Genesis. 1:26-27, Genesis. 5:1-2, Isaiah 45:9-12, Psalm 139:13-16)

K.    We believe human beings are not God. We do our best to create a just society and world here on Earth, honoring the commandments God gave us. However, we recognize that all of these attempts will be imperfect, and we are not capable of creating utopia, or Heaven on Earth. We will see complete perfection only when we reach Heaven and are in perfect union with our creator. (Hebrews 13:14) We also recognize that it is the changing of hearts through the Gospel that is ultimately the best force for good in the world. (2 Corinthians 5:17) While it is good for us as Christians to participate in the government of our nation, we do not place our faith in governments, leaders (alive or dead), political parties, or activist groups. (Psalm 146:3) Our faith and worship are reserved for our sovereign Lord, Jesus Christ. It is our unity in the Lord that is the basis of our fellowship with one another. (Romans 12:5)

L.    We believe God and His Word are the source of all truth and the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). We believe in ultimate truth, and we reject the philosophy of relativism. We believe we are called to live by the truth, and we reject as unbiblical the temptation to live by our perceptions and emotions. (Isaiah 55:8-9, Proverbs 3:5-6)

M.   We believe in the spiritual unity of believers through our common faith in the  Lord Jesus Christ, and that individual doctrinal differences which may exist,  outside of the aforementioned (A-L), should not hinder the unity of Christian home educators.
